EC Lydden Hill (GB)
For the second time this season the team was in Lydden Hill. This time for the European Championship.
The first round was not entirely without problems. After a good start Willem took the third position and stayed clode to the rest. In this struggle to pass, he drove a broken rim and his hanging crooked. He could finish his manche, but unfortunately his time was less. At night, there was work to be done again.
In the second race on Monday the gears in the gearbox broke and Willem had to give up, to prevent to get more damage in the gearbox. Also this weekend the team could ensure that the car was ready in time for the third round.
In the third round Willem knew that he had to put a time, which gave some pressure. After a good start on the outside Willem get the jokerlap immediately and directly joint his predecessors. Willem could put a reasonable and went seventeenth in the overall position. Unfortunately one less place for a final.
